Check-in is possible from 2pm, and check-out must be done by 10am on weekdays and by 11:00 am on weekends and holidays.

If you wish to extend your stay with an earlier check-in (from 11am at the earliest) or a later check-out (until 1pm at the latest), this can be requested in advance of your stay for a fee of DKK 200.

Children under the age of 18 must always be accompanied by/stay with an adult during their stay.

Regardless of how you wish to pay for your stay, an authorization for the total amount of the stay + an additional DKK 500 per night will be taken at check-in as a guarantee for your stay. If paying with a gift card or cash, the authorized amount will be released after check-out.

It is recommended to inform the receptionist if the stay is reserved with a debit card, as the amount is not deducted but only blocked by the bank.

When you arrive at the hotel, you will be asked to fill out registration cards, sign, and if requested, present a valid ID. This is done in accordance with Danish law.

We can offer one extra bed in our triple rooms. The price varies depending on whether it is for an adult or a child between 3-11 years old. A baby cot is 125 DKK. Extra beds must be pre-booked.

There is the possibility of access for wheelchair users and people with walking difficulties.

It is allowed to bring "quiet" and house-trained dogs to the room, provided that it is notified before the stay. An extra charge of DKK 250 per room per night applies and only in standard/dog rooms.

If your stay does not include dinner, you may cancel your reservation free of charge until 4pm on the day of arrival. If the room is cancelled after 4pm, we will charge for the first night.

A pre-paid "non-refundable stay" cannot be cancelled.

Rooms with dinner included can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. If cancelled between 6 and 2 days before arrival, 50% of the stay will be charged. If cancelled less than 2 days before arrival, the full amount of the stay will be charged. Stays with nine or more people must be cancelled 30 days before.

At Comwell Sorø, you can use all popular credit cards. Please note that a fee is charged for foreign credit cards.

Comwell reserves the right to pre-approve your credit/debit card prior to your arrival. Comwell.com does not charge your credit card unless you book a "non-refundable stay."

Your credit card is only used as a guarantee for your reservation.

If you use a debit card for your booking, your bank will reserve the amount for 30 days. If you wish to have the funds released before the 30-day period is up, please contact the hotel directly with your reservation number, and the hotel will assist in releasing the funds. Comwell can notify your bank through DIBS to release the amount, but it is only your bank that can remove the reservation of the amount. Debit cards include Visa Electron, Maestro, or MasterCard Direct.

Breakfast is served from 7am-10am Monday-Saturday, and on Sunday from 7:30am-11am.

Table reservations for dinner are recommended. Please note that there may be limited availability for a la carte dinner tables.

We are happy to customize the menu for guests with allergies or vegetarians if notified before arrival.

All of our duvets and pillows are allergy tested. Please always inform us of any allergies prior to your stay, if there are any special conditions we need to be aware of.

Our reception is staffed 24/7 and always ready to assist you with anything you need.

Breakfast in the room can be ordered no later than the evening before for an extra charge of DKK 50.

There is an additional charge of DKK 50 for ordering from the room service menu. If a menu with multiple courses is ordered, they will be served at once. Please note that room service cannot be ordered on Sunday evenings.

Parking is free.

The nearest station is Sorø Station, located approximately 6 km from the hotel. Bus no. 421 runs from the station and has a stop right outside the hotel.

All indoor areas are smoke-free. Smoking is allowed only at the ashtrays located by the main entrance.

All bookings require that you enter payment card details, even if you have a gift voucher. We do not take your payment when you enter your card details. All stays are paid for at the hotel, with the exception of non-refundable stays for which payment is made when booking. Stays of this type cannot be refunded or transferred to other dates.

Please note that when using MasterCardDebit or VISA Debit as your payment guarantee, the amount will be reserved on your account and will not be released until after your departure. This can take up to 30 days.

If you have a gift voucher redeemable at all Comwell hotels, you can book your stay online and use the gift voucher to pay for your stay when you check out. Credit cards are used for online booking as a guarantee that the guest will arrive. 

Gift vouchers cannot be used to pay for pre-paid non-refundable stays. 

Gift vouchers from Gavefabrikken must always be ordered using the link that you received with the gift voucher. They may not be used as payment unless the stay was specifically ordered using the link.

All our hotels have the Danish Organic Cuisine Bronze Label, which means that 30-60% of all our food and beverage purchases are organic. We believe that the Organic Cuisine Label will improve the quality and taste experience that our kitchens provide our guests.

We take active measures to prevent food waste. We, therefore, make sure that our food waste is recycled as biogas and second-generation biodiesel.

All Comwell hotels are Green Key certified, which means that an extra effort is made to protect the environment. We are Denmark's most sustainable hotel chain, and we use local ingredients to the extent possible instead of importing foreign ingredients.

You automatically earn 5% of the total amount of your final bill for any overnight stay.
