Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg becomes part of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts

Exciting new collaboration

Comwell Hotels is expanding its partnership with the international hotel brand Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. From August 1, 2025, Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg will become part of the Wyndham brand ‘Dolce by Wyndham’.

Since 2019, Comwell has had an exclusive agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts - one of the world's largest hotel chains - and currently has three hotels under the ‘Dolce by Wyndham’ brand: Comwell Aarhus, Comwell Copenhagen Portside and Comwell H. C. Andersen Odense. Now Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg joins the list.

The hotel is already a popular destination for both Danish and international guests and is particularly attractive due to its central location close to the city center, the train station and Aalborg Airport with daily flights to Amsterdam and Copenhagen. This addition to the Wyndham family gives Aalborg another strong international hotel profile - it is also concrete proof of how the qualities and hospitality of North Jutland are moving out into the world. It's a boost that will help put both Aalborg and North Jutland even more prominently on the global map - and ultimately help create increased activity and new opportunities for both the city and the business community. Today, Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg is one of the city's most prominent hotels - and the new collaboration cements its position as one of Aalborg's leading destinations for meetings, conferences and stays.

"Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg is an obvious choice as the next hotel under the Dolce by Wyndham brand. It is a modern full-service hotel with a high level of service, strong conference facilities and an attractive location - and it already attracts many international guests. By joining Wyndham, we are strengthening our visibility and accessibility to even more guests and companies from abroad. It makes it easier to choose Comwell - no matter where in the world you come from," says Michael Hansen, Commercial Director at Comwell Hotels.

The partnership with Wyndham provides access to a global sales network, international booking channels and a large loyalty program with 90 million members worldwide. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts currently has over 9,300 hotels in more than 95 countries.

The new collaboration does not change the ownership of Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg or the existing employment conditions.

The launch of the Wyndham brand coincides with the end of an extensive renovation of Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg, where the hotel will be ready this summer with beautiful, newly renovated rooms, new beds, modern décor and new sound-reducing windows. A significant upgrade that enhances comfort and completes the ambition to give guests an even more inspiring and pleasant experience.
