General info about meetings, conferences and parties at Centralværkstedet
Of course, our kitchens always take allergies and special needs into account. And we listen to your wishes and do our best to accommodate them. We are also happy to help you choose the right wine to go with your food.
We have our own pastry chef who can make the most delicious cakes, including wedding cakes.
If you choose to purchase cocktails, we have bartenders ready for you.
Children under the age of 3 eat for free. Children under 12 years are half-price.
We have a lovely courtyard between the two locations, Centralværkstedet and Smedien. You are very welcome to use it, also for lunch, receptions and the like.
Companies will receive an invoice after the event. Foreign companies are requested to prepay the full amount before the event.
For private individuals, there will be a deposit of DKK 3000, which must be paid upon signing the offer. The amount will be deducted from the final invoice. 30 days before the event, we ask for a prepayment of 75% of the event. All payment information is included in the quote and the final invoice will be sent after the event.
Up to and including 90 days before arrival, the event can be freely canceled*. If cancellation occurs after 90 days and up to and including 30 days before arrival, the canceled services will be invoiced at 50% of the agreed price including VAT.
If cancellation is made after 30 days and up to and including 48 hours before the first day of the event, the canceled services will be invoiced at 75% of the agreed price including VAT.
If cancellation is made later than 48 hours before the first day of the event, the full price including VAT will be invoiced.
In the event of a no-show, late arrival, or early departure, the full price for the booked event will be invoiced.
For events with more than 35 participants, up to 5% of the booked number of participants can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours before the first day of the event.
* Cancellation, which must always be made in writing, means reduction, shortening, relocation, and similar significant changes in relation to the confirmation.
The cancellation conditions are stated in the offer, and it is important to read through them before signing.
We recommend staying at Comwell Aarhus, just a two-minute walk from Centralværkstedet. It has many rooms and great facilities, and you can get a discount when booking more than 10 rooms.
We provide 2 parking spaces for the organizer. This way you can decide whether you want to use both or share with relevant suppliers, entertainment, etc. Other guests are referred to the large underground parking garage in Bruuns Galleri, right next to Centralværkstedet.
If you are staying at Comwell Aarhus, there is also an underground parking garage where you can park for a fee. Please note that the car's license plate number must be reported to the reception no later than 15 minutes after arrival. Regular car parking costs DKK 100,- for a day ticket or DKK 175,- per day.
In the underground parking garage in Bruuns Galleri, right next to Centralværkstedet, there are charging stations for electric cars.
Comwell Aarhus also has 16 parking spaces with charging stations for electric cars. The price is the same as regular parking plus user payment for the electricity via the Clever app, and you must bring your own cables.
Aarhus Rutebilstation is just around the corner, and Aarhus Central Station is just a few minutes walk from Centralværkstedet. It is possible to take a bus that runs directly to Aarhus Airport from Aarhus Central Station. The bus ride to Aarhus Airport takes approximately 50 minutes, and tickets can be purchased on the bus.
Taxis can drive right into the courtyard in front of Centralværkstedet or Smedien.
We have free Wi-Fi. Internet and code will be provided at all meetings and at parties you can ask at the bar.
You will find good toilet facilities in both Smedien and Centralværkstedet.
Smoking is only allowed outside on our patio.
Decorations and flowers are generally provided by our guests. You choose how much or how little to decorate, and the decoration is not included in the price. If you wish, we can recommend skilled partners.
If you want to host a theme party or have other special requests, we are happy to refer you to an event agency and other partners who can help you realize your ideas at Centralværkstedet.
