Picnic in the courtyard, a street food theme, or even a pajama party? Let your creativity run wild - we’ll do our best to make it happen.
This stunning, historic railway workshop has undergone an extensive yet careful renovation, now featuring all modern amenities while retaining its rich character. The original train tracks still run through the concrete floor, and grand "remise" windows in the original gates, raw iron columns, exposed beams, and rustic brickwork create an irresistible industrial charm. To soften the look, we’ve added striking contrasts - plush, deep-red velvet curtains and modern chandeliers bring warmth and elegance to the space.
Despite the impressive ceiling height, the acoustics are flawless. The venue offers plenty of options for creating more intimate spaces - perhaps dining in one area and a lounge in another, or retreating upstairs to cozy lounge spaces. Plus, we have a stunning, enclosed courtyard adorned with potted olive trees and elegant garden furniture. That’s why Comwell Centralværkstedet is the perfect setting for a corporate event. And best of all? You’ll have the entire venue to yourselves!

You’ll meet with us, explore our stunning venue, and together we’ll define the perfect format. We’re also happy to brainstorm themes and ideas with you because we’ve seen it all - and we know that anything is possible. From fun and quirky to full-on gala.
We’ll present a suggested menu, and if you have something specific in mind, we’ll make it happen. From here, all communication can easily take place over the phone or via email.
Party in the kitchen
A successful corporate party calls for food that makes you go WOW! Our kitchen is deeply rooted in sustainability, and our passionate chefs work exclusively with seasonal ingredients - mostly organic whenever possible. We source our meat from Troels at Grambogaard and our fish from the North Sea. With ingredients like these, it’s impossible not to get creative - and hungry!

Enjoy your meal as a plated dinner, a social dining experience with shared dishes, or a rustic buffet arranged on wooden pallets. If you’re looking to break away from the traditional sit-down corporate event, our stunning courtyard is the perfect addition to the mix. Roll out the grass for a picnic-style gathering, or go all-in with food stalls and street food.

No matter what you choose, we’ll serve delicious wines to complement your meal. And of course, we ensure quick service, so everyone is served at the same time - without compromising on quality, no matter how large your group is!
We’ll set the scene and decorate for your corporate event
The Centralværkstedet venue is already stunning as it is, but you are welcome to transform the space to match your vision. The large wall portraits of former railway workers can be replaced, and the exposed beams make it easy to hang lights, banners, balloons - even disco balls! Add a personal touch with your company’s branding, like a custom logo display.
Table settings and ambience
We typically set up round tables seating 7–9 guests per table, but long banquet tables are also an option. Tables are elegantly dressed with white linen tablecloths, napkins, and candles, creating a striking contrast to the venue’s raw, industrial charm. We can also adjust the lighting and column colors to match your theme.
From kick-off to full-blown party in no time
Looking to take the party up a notch? We collaborate with partners who can set up disco lighting, and we have great connections to live bands and DJs in the city - so when the drinks start flowing, the party will, too!
To enhance the industrial and rustic feel, we often incorporate wooden pallets and raw materials into the setup. For example, we can serve the welcome drinks or buffet on rustic pallet tables.
And the best part? We can transition the venue from a professional kick-off event by day to a full-throttle party by night in just one hour!
