Roskilde - 30 km from the hotel:

Roskilde Cathedral and the royal tombs
Roskilde Cathedral is considered one of the most important church buildings in Denmark and one of the most important monuments in general, due to its unique architecture and its connection to Danish history. The cathedral was built during the 12th and 13th centuries as the first brick-built, Gothic-style cathedral in Scandinavia, but today it reflects 800 years of changing architectural styles.
The cathedral has been the royal family's burial church for centuries and contains 38-40 royal tombs: 19-21 kings and 19 queens. The cathedral was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1995.

The Viking Ship Museum
The Viking Ship Museum is Denmark’s national museum for ships, seafaring and boatbuilding culture from the Viking Age through to the Middle Ages. Through exhibitions, research and experimental archaeology, the museum seeks to create a living and modern museum that makes our maritime history interesting and relevant to visitors today.

Ragnarock
Ragnarock's 1,200 m2 main exhibition space consists of 11 themes that present the story of how music and youth have pushed boundaries and influenced society over the years. Take part in a captivating journey through the history and development of music and youth from the 1950s onwards – a journey that engages, activates and makes you sweat.

Copenhagen - 50 km from the hotel:

Tivoli
Tivoli Gardens is an amusement park located in the centre of Copenhagen close to Central Station and Strøget. The park is the world's second oldest of its kind, surpassed only by Bakken. Walt Disney drew a great deal of inspiration from Tivoli, which is almost magical when in full bloom with some of Denmark’s most beautiful perennials, flowers and shrubs. Enjoy a walk in the beautiful garden with historic buildings, cosy nooks and fun-filled squeals.

ZOO
Copenhagen Zoo is one of Europe’s oldest zoos, where you can see more than 4,000 fascinating animals and cross continents in a pull-along wagon. Come and see the iconic pandas and enjoy a meal alongside these bamboo-eating bears in the magnificent Panda House. You can get so close to the polar bears that it will give you chills, or see the world from above like a giraffe.
