On the slope facing the fjord, we have built a large terrace that is made for a beautiful and very romantic ceremony and wedding reception, so why not let the terrace be the church floor? Instagram is glowing! And your wedding photographer has the opportunity to really let loose and get some great wedding photos.
Before the wedding dinner, welcome your wedding guests on the terrace or in the garden with a glass of bubbly and a view of the fjord and beautiful green tree tops.

Cold smoked Danish salmon with airy smoked cheese cream, pickled cranberries, crispy rye bread crumble, frisee and crispy herbs

Chicken rillette with fresh herbs, tarragon mayonnaise, crispy puff pastry flakes and herbs tossed in fermented garlic vinaigrette

Which venue should you choose? And which table setting?
The four function rooms at our stylish and atmospheric hotel have magnificent views of the fjord and forest from huge windows, allowing nature to become a natural part of the party. However, we always endeavour to have only one wedding at a time, so you get the focus you deserve.
Our large banqueting room has a partition wall, so if you have a party of 50-60 guests, you can eat in one room and then open up to another room, which is prepared for a party with a bar, for example.
You get the decor exactly as you want it. Round tables, long tables or U-formation, colour of tablecloth, candles and napkins (and how to fold them), five-armed candle holders or pillar candles and choice of flowers are all up to you. And we're always open to new ideas!
Table centrepieces and decorations
In addition to table decorations, we also offer decorations with tulle and string lights on the ceiling to emphasise the cosy and very romantic atmosphere, as well as our soft LED lights behind the curtains when darkness falls. It is also possible to hire a tulle heart and red carpet.
And then throw a romantic wedding party!
From here it's ‘just’ a matter of letting go of control, we've got it! So party on! And when Niels W. Gade's Bridal Waltz is played, for example under a starry sky on our terrace, and the party comes to an end, you can retire to your bridal suite.
The day after - in our cosy spa
After a successful party (and months of intense planning!), you're probably in need of some full-on pampering. Enjoy a trip to our exclusive AquaSpa with shower walk, herbal sauna, steam room, outdoor hot tub and sandy beach with light therapy. The spa is included in the price.
