Open sky celebrations
Celebrate under the open sky in our event space on the first floor. The room is filled with beautiful natural light and offers views of the water and meadows from every window. There’s also direct access to a large terrace for potential Champagne sabering.
Host a grand party!
In our spacious hall on the ground floor, the ceilings are high with beautiful vaulted arches, offering plenty of room for a stage, DJ, and dance floor – and there’s direct access to our large terrace. All of this comes with a view of what we consider a true gift: beach, water, and meadow areas. The size of the hall can be adjusted depending on the number of guests.
Looking for a place for a smaller party?
Finally, we also have a smaller, cozy, and more intimate room for smaller gatherings, with access to our stylish yet relaxed lounge area.
We light up the atmosphere with atmospheric fire pits and LED torches outside, and guarantee a magical soundscape – the sound of waves against the beach.

But first, some planning for your company party
Contact us as soon as you have a date for your company party. We would love to give you a tour because it’s simply something entirely different – and absolutely worth the time. We’ll discuss the purpose of your event and align ourselves with the vision you have. Often, the ideas come to life right on the spot. Whether you choose to arrive Hollywood-style by water or prefer solid ground along Strandvejen, everything is 'Mission Possible.'
From here, all communication can easily take place via email and phone.
We set the table and decorate for your company party
As a standard, we set up round tables with space for 10 people at each table. Tablecloths, napkins, and candles are white. But we've tried a bit of everything – and it's fun! So, bring on the casino, western, and whatever-themed parties you have in mind!
Our unique location right by the beach is often used as a fun gimmick to add some excitement. We’ve hosted company parties where guests arrived by speedboats from Copenhagen in fearless ‘frogman’ style, with themed gimmicks on the terrace that tied into the overall theme. And we've hosted plenty of fun parties with a high skipper factor.
Company party in the kitchen
Our kitchen maintains a high gastronomic standard with a focus on sustainability. For example, we source our organic meat from Grambogaard, and the ingredients are mostly local. The late-night snack is usually a bit more laid-back, with options like a hot dog stand or hash after drinks and dancing – always greeted with open arms!
Teambuilding for your company party
Teambuilding before the company party is a popular feature. And with so much space at our disposal, we haven't encountered any limitations yet. Naturally, it's perfect to incorporate the beach into your teambuilding activities, but also the large lawn in front of the hotel. And remember: The better you are shaken together, the better you work together. And the better you party together!
Companion tours for the company party
Køge's charming old town center is a very popular addition to companion tours. Here, you’ll find Denmark’s oldest timber-framed house from 1527. But more importantly, the town is home to Agnes' house, where she sat and darned stockings for the show Matador! In the cobblestone idyll, there are plenty of small specialty shops, and at the harbor, you’ll find Microbrewery and Distillery Braunstein, where you can taste organic beer and whiskey. Vallø Slot Park is breathtakingly beautiful, laid out in the English landscape style with views over the bay. And just a short bus ride from Køge, you’ll find ARKEN Museum of Modern Art, which is always guaranteed to provide a magical experience.
Braunstein is also a great gimmick for your company party. You can walk straight there, sample some different whiskies, and then return to change into your party attire.
And then, hold a company party that will go down in history by the water!
Terms
The event package is for a minimum of 20 people and is based on a separate room.
In addition, the following terms apply:
Projector can be rented for 500 DKK.
The following connections are available: HDMI and VGA.
To ensure the best experience when using our AV equipment, we recommend testing the equipment before the event begins.
We always recommend having a backup on a USB stick, which can be used on one of the hotel's PCs.
Our technical manager can be contacted for equipment testing. Phone hours are Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM at phone number 51 57 73 88.
Microphone can be rented for 650 DKK (headset or handheld). We recommend renting a microphone for speeches or presentations at larger events with more than 50 guests.
Stage can be rented for 2.000 DKK. The largest possible stage is 4 x 8 meters.
Uplights can be rented for 250 DKK each with a minimum of 12 units, and 300 DKK each with a minimum of 6 units.
Choice of seating arrangement (round tables, long tables, or U/E shape) must be confirmed no later than 14 days before the event.
Place cards and seating plans should be submitted no later than 2 days before the event.
Please remember to clearly mark any allergies and the toastmaster on the seating plan, as well as how the tables should be positioned in relation to the room.
Flowers can be ordered through the hotel. This is arranged during the menu discussion.
If flowers are brought by the guests, it is important that they are delivered in clear vases with water, ready to be placed on the tables.
Other decorations should be delivered no later than 2 days before the event. We can place table decorations within a reasonable scope.
Children up to and including 4 years old are free of charge.
Children from 5 to 12 years old receive a 50% discount on the package price when the menu is ordered.
Comwell Køge Strand provides all catering for your event.
You are not allowed to bring your own snacks, spirits, homemade cake etc.
The menu is served once per course.
When serving each course, the food is presented by the chef.
Please inform us of any allergies/dietary requirements no later than 12 days before the event.
Wine is poured when the guests are seated. After that, our waiters will refill the wine continuously - unless otherwise agreed.
We do not serve drinks during speeches/performances. It is therefore important that the toastmaster coordinates speeches with our waiters on the day.
A complete list of first and last names of overnight guests must be sent no later than 4 weeks prior to the event, unless otherwise agreed during the menu discussion. After this, we reserve the right to cancel rooms in the reservation.
Remember to clearly divide the rooms into double/single rooms.
For extra beds in the room (max. 1 extra bed per room), a supplement of 200 DKK for the larger room category and 250 DKK for the extra bed.
Please note that we do not recommend extra beds for adults.
We cannot guarantee additional rooms or other room categories unless booked in advance.
Cancellation terms for events
Throwing a party means a lot. Also financially. At Comwell, we give you complete peace of mind throughout the process, and you can already familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions so that you feel secure from start to finish. This applies to issues such as cancellation terms, payment and the need to reduce the number of guests.
