Cancellation policy for stays

CONDITIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL STAYS

For individual bookings, with less than 10 rooms, made directly with Comwell, the following conditions apply.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

  • Online bookings of stays WITHOUT prepayment
    For bookings of stays without prepayment made on our website, the price of the stay is reserved on a payment card as a guarantee for your reservation. The reservation on the payment card is valid for 30 days from the time of booking. Upon check-in at the hotel, the price of the stay + DKK 500 in deposit must be guaranteed on a payment card. The reservation on the payment card is valid for settlement upon departure from the hotel. Release of guarantee If you want to have a reserved amount released after the stay before the 30 days have passed, you must contact us at kontakt@comwell.com with your reservation number, so we will help release the money with your bank.
  • Online bookings of stays WITH prepayment
    For bookings of stays with prepayment made on our website, the price of the stay is deducted from the payment card at the time of booking. This booking can neither be changed nor canceled. Upon check-in at the hotel, a deposit of DKK 500 must be guaranteed on a payment card. The reservation is valid for settlement upon departure from the hotel.
  • Other bookings
    For bookings made per. telephone, by e-mail or by personal inquiry, the price of the stay + a deposit of DKK 500, - is reserved on arrival on a payment card as a guarantee for your reservation. The reservation is valid for settlement upon departure from the hotel.


AMENDMENT AND CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

  • Cancellation of room with and without breakfast
    Bookings of rooms with and without breakfast can be canceled free of charge until 4 pm local time on the day of arrival. If the room is canceled after 4 pm local time we bill for the first night.
  • Cancellation of Non-refundable / prepaid stays 
    Booking of prepaid stays, such as events, concerts and special events, are all prepaid and cannot be changed, canceled or refunded after booking. Payment is deducted from the debit card at the time of booking. The website always states whether stays, events, concerts and special events are prepaid.
  • Cancellation of stays with dinner and / or spa treatments 
    Stays with dinner and / or spa treatments can be canceled free of charge, no later than 7 days before arrival. If canceled between 6 and 2 days before arrival, 50% of the price of the stay will be charged. If canceled less than 2 days before arrival, the full price of the stay will be charged.
  • How to change and cancel
    Bookings made directly with Comwell can be changed and canceled by calling either the hotel directly or Comwell Central Reservations. Please note that any price changes from the date of your initial booking will be adjusted accordingly, when changing or cancelling your stay. Reservations cannot be moved from one hotel to another. Please note that some offers cannot be canceled, refunded or changed. Reservations made through 3rd party agents such as booking.com, Expedia, hotes.com etc. must be changed by the 3rd party agent with whom the reservation was made.


CANCELLATION
When purchasing cancellation insurance, you can cancel your reservation free of charge until the day of arrival at 4 pm local time without any justification or documentation. It only costs DKK 75 per adult. Children under 12 are free. The details are as follows:

  • Who covers the insurance? 
    The insurance covers the number of persons stated on the confirmation, as well as children under 12 years of age. The individual person / persons is then called the insured.

  • The insurance period 
    Once the insurance is paid, it covers from the date of purchase and until arrival at the hotel.

  • When should the insurance be purchased? 
    The insurance must be purchased when booking the stay. It is not possible to purchase afterwards.

  • What expenses does the insurance cover? 
    The insurance covers the amount stated in the final confirmation. The cost of the cancellation insurance is non-refundable. Cancellation of the stay in any case of cancellation, the insured must immediately - and no later than 4 pm local time on the day of arrival - inform each Comwell hotel. If canceled later than in time of arrival, the insurance does not cover.


BOOKINGS FOR MORE THAN 9 ROOMS

If more than 9 rooms are booked for the same period, the hotel will consider this as a group booking, which may lead to a change in prices and general conditions - including cancellation and payment conditions. The hotel will send a group contract, which must be signed by the customer to confirm the reservations.
