For bookings of fewer than 9 rooms made directly with Comwell, the following terms apply.
Online bookings for stays
For bookings for stays where prepayment is not made on our website, the price of the stay is reserved on the payment card as a guarantee for your reservation. The reservation on the payment card remains valid for 30 days from the time of booking.
When checking into the hotel, the price of the stay + a DKK 500 deposit must be guaranteed on a payment card. The reservation on the payment card is valid until payment upon departure from the hotel.
Release of the guarantee
If, after the stay, you wish to have a reserved amount released within 30 days, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your reservation number, and we will help you release the money from your bank.
Online bookings of stays WITH
For bookings of stays where prepayment is made on our website, the price of the stay is withdrawn from the payment card at the time of booking. This booking cannot be changed or cancelled.
When checking into the hotel, a DKK 500 deposit must be guaranteed on a payment card. The reservation is valid until payment upon departure from the hotel.
For bookings made by phone, email or in person, on arrival the price of the stay + a deposit of DKK 500 will be reserved on a debit card to guarantee your reservation. The reservation is valid until payment upon departure from the hotel.
Cancellation of bookings for rooms with or without
Bookings for rooms with or without breakfast can be cancelled free of charge until 16:00 on the day of arrival. If the booking for the room is cancelled after 16:00 local time, we will invoice for the first night.
Bookings for prepaid stays, such as events, concerts and special events, are all paid for in advance and cannot be changed, cancelled or refunded after they have been booked. Payment is deducted from the payment card at the time of booking. The website will always state whether stays, events, concerts and special events are paid for in advance.
Cancellation of stays with
dinner and/or spa treatments
Stays with dinner, sports and/or spa treatments can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. If a cancellation is made between 6 and 2 days prior to arrival, 50% of the price of the stay will be invoiced. If a cancellation is made fewer than 2 days prior to arrival, the full price of the stay will be invoiced.
How to change or cancel a booking
Bookings made directly with Comwell can be changed or cancelled by contacting the relevant Comwell hotel directly via phone or email.
Reservations which are changed are subject to any price increases.
Reservations cannot be moved from one hotel to another.
Please note that some offers cannot be cancelled, refunded or changed.
Bookings made through
third-party agents, such as booking.com, Expedia, hotels.com, etc., must be
changed via the third-party agent the booking has been made with.
If you purchase cancellation insurance, you can cancel your reservation, free of charge, right up until the day of arrival at 16:00 local time without justification or documentation. This only costs DKK 75 per adult. There is no cost for children under 12. The details are as follows:
Who will the insurance cover?
The insurance covers the number of persons stated on the confirmation, as well as children aged under 12. The person(s) are subsequently referred to as insured.
The insurance period
When the insurance is purchased, it covers from the date of purchase until arrival at the hotel.
When should the insurance be
The insurance must be purchased when booking the stay. It is not possible to purchase it subsequently.
What expenses are covered by
The insurance covers the amount in the final confirmation. The cost of the cancellation insurance will not be refunded.
Cancellation of the stay
In any case of cancellation, the insured must immediately – and no later than 16:00 local time on the day of arrival – inform the relevant Comwell hotel. Cancellations made later than 16:00 on the day of arrival are not covered by the insurance.
BOOKINGS OF MORE THAN 9 ROOMS
If more than 9 rooms are booked for the same period, the hotel will consider this a group booking, which may cause a change of prices and general terms – including i.a. the terms of cancellation and payment. The hotel will send a group contract to be signed by the customer in order to confirm the reservations.
