Centralværkstedet in Aarhus was built in 1862 as part of DSB's large workshop area where trains were repaired and maintained. For more than 100 years, the halls buzzed with life, innovation and craftsmanship until the workshops were closed in the 1990s.
Today, the beautifully preserved buildings are the setting for unforgettable parties and events - where the raw brick walls, iron structures and impressive ceiling heights tell the story of another time.

Yes - Comwell Aarhus is located a few minutes walk from Centralværkstedet and offers comfortable rooms for you and your guests.
Our event packages are standard until 02:00, but we are always flexible and agree on the end time based on your wishes and needs.
It depends on the season, day of the week and type of event, but as a guide, we recommend booking 6-18 months in advance.

Yes - We provide 2 parking spaces for the organizer. You decide whether you want to use them for suppliers, music, entertainment or your own cars.
Other guests are referred to the nearby underground parking garage in Bruuns Galleri, which is located right next to Comwell Centralværkstedet.
If you and your guests are staying at Comwell Aarhus, you can also use the hotel's underground parking garage for a fee.
Remember to register your car's license plate at the reception within 15 minutes of arrival. Regular parking costs DKK 100,- for a day ticket or DKK 175,- per day.
For private events, a deposit of DKK 3,000 is charged, which is paid upon signing the offer. The amount will be deducted from the final invoice.
30 days before the event we ask for a prepayment of 75% of the total price. The remaining balance will be invoiced after the event.
