Comwell Borupgaard's fantastic spa facilities offer unique experiences for spa guests throughout North Zealand - both for those who come here privately and for business purposes. Try, among other things, Denmark's first Brechelbath, our spa park with natural sauna, or our AquaSpa with salt sauna. We offer stylish spa facilities that offer ultimate spa experiences for both body and mind.

Denmark’s First Brechelbath 

As the first spa hotel in Denmark, Comwell Borupgaard in Snekkersten offers Brechelbath as part of our spa treatments. Brechelbath is a more than 200-year-old treatment form originating from Bavaria.

Brechelbath is a herbal steam bath with mild, humid heat and slowly increasing temperature. The special herbal steam bath with spruce, flax or pine wood shavings is mentally stimulating and increases concentration. The treatment takes place in a wooden room that matches the original brechel huts. The brechel oven is the center piece of the bath, with its copper crown filled with aromatic spruce branches and twigs. In the sauna, everything is computer-controlled, so the steam will be led down along the side walls via the copper ceiling and down along the back when the steam covers the entire ceiling.

The fresh spruce branches on the floor give you a gentle reflexology massage. The temperature in the sauna has a comfortable humidity between 40-65 degrees and can be adjusted as needed. The sauna is therefore ideal for those who cannot tolerate the temperature in a standard sauna.

In winter, the floor in the sauna is covered with spruce and in summer with pine wood shavings. Both are soothing and mentally stimulating as they promote relaxing sleep and improve physical and mental resilience

Spa Park 

At Comwell Borupgaard, we have a fantastic spa park with natural saunas that have a panoramic view of the lake and park, as well as two outdoor hot tubs.

AquaSpa

Enjoy our AquaSpa where we have fantastic and ultimate experiences that strengthen the body and mind.

As the only ones in Denmark, we can offer a salt sauna in our AquaSpa. The health-giving salt ions are released through heat and destress the body and skin, while at the same time strengthening your immune system both internally and externally. This sauna also functions as an anti-ageing therapy with an effective effect on the skin, which is softened and left with a beautiful glow.

Spa Shop

In the spa shop at Comwell Borupgaard, you can buy products and get advice and guidance from our spa therapists.

We also have beautiful gift sets in various price ranges and lots of ideas for birthday gifts, hostess gifts, etc.

The spa shop is open every day except Tuesday. You are always welcome to stop by.

SpaDay

Pamper yourself with a spa day in our fantastic spa areas with beautiful surroundings. SpaDay costs DKK 695 per person and gives you access to all our spa facilities including a breakfast buffet.

SpaDay at Comwell Borupgaard includes:

• Free access to AquaSpa from 07:00-16:00

• Free access to the fitness room from 07:00-16:00

• Delicious breakfast buffet from 07:00-10:00

• Loan of bathrobe and towel.

SpaDay can be used from Monday to Friday. Book time via the hotel reception.

To complete your SpaDay, we recommend a spa treatment, where our professional spa therapists take care of you and show you the way to increased well-being and mental calm.

Info About Children in the Spa Facilities

Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to use the spa facilities, and children between the ages of 12-18 must always be accompanied/stay with an adult during their stay. For spa treatments, children aged 16 and above are eligible for treatment.
