Comwell Kongebrogaarden is beautifully located by Kongebro Harbour, surrounded by water, forest, and sailing ships. Since 1584, Kongebrogaarden served as a crossing point for King Frederick II, so the hunting-enthusiast king could quickly reach his established game reserve at Skanderborg Castle to hunt. The place was later used by his son, the famous Christian IV. But now, it’s the venue for royal company parties and WOW moments by the water.

Our event venue, Restaurant Kongebro, offers a view of the water with large glass doors leading out to the terrace. Here, the bridges and the view truly capture your attention!

If you're looking for a more intimate company party, we also have smaller event spaces with a view of the water. Once dinner is over, we move the party to an adjacent room, often Kongens Have. And then, you can just let loose! All rooms are equipped with AV equipment – and Kongens Have even has a stage for a band, gas, entertainment – anything you like!

Company party, anniversary, kick-off, teambuilding, Christmas lunch – and definitely a wild celebration! A company party at Comwell Kongebrogaarden usually comes with all the bells and whistles. Your party will be exactly how you want it. We can go from 2 to 200 guests in no time.

Once you've settled on a date, contact us, and we can arrange a meeting where you can meet us and handpick the menu based on your preferences and budget. But all communication can easily be handled via email or phone as well.

Companies often start with a full-day meeting, where one or more activities are included. You can check into your rooms during the lunch break and change into your party outfits while we transform the room for the evening’s festivities. And then, you can just let the party begin!

We set the table and decorate for your company party

Most companies prefer seating arrangements with round tables, accommodating 8-10 people per table. However, "horseshoe," L-shape, T-shape, or long tables are also possible. As a standard, we set the tables with white tablecloths and napkins, along with white candles. But if you have special requests, we’ll certainly make it happen.

We collaborate with skilled event agencies that can give your party exactly the look or theme you desire. And we've experienced a little bit of everything!

Our kitchen at Comwell Kongebrogaarden is known for its high gastronomic standards. The kitchen is predominantly organic, and we prefer to source from skilled local producers. We have the utmost respect for the ingredients and know exactly how they taste when they've just been picked, plucked, or pulled from the ground. Our menus are generous with everything the different seasons have to offer. If you have special requests for the menu or wines, just let us know!

Teambuilding and activities for your company party

Comwell Kongebrogaarden is perfectly located, with the Belt right there! So, it's a natural choice for boat trips in our beautiful nature. You can hop on and off at our small, picturesque marina just outside, and stop at the small harbors you encounter along the way.

From the Old Harbor in Middelfart, you can greet the skipper on the Aventura and set sail on a whale safari to spot porpoises. Or climb the old Little Belt Bridge with bridge walking, which definitely requires teamwork and focus—but rewards you with the most spectacular view at 60 meters high!

Or how about a bus trip to CLAY, the museum for ceramics as an art form? See the always inspiring exhibitions and experience the treasure trove of 55,000 unique works from 235 years of impressive art and industrial history, including Flora Danica and King Frederik VI's dessert set.

All activities are also perfect for companion trips before you all gather again for the wild celebration in the evening.

Unique wine tasting for your company party

Take the journey up our long, dark staircase lit by candlelight and arrive at a wine tasting in our cozy, authentic wine cellar. A completely unique opportunity for your company party! The cellar is full of atmosphere and raw charm, and – not least – over 600 different wines, including a selection of vintage wines from special regions. We sabre Champagne and go all out, ensuring you have an unparalleled experience. And if you have special wines you'd like to taste, just let us know!

The hotel is centrally located for the entire country, close to highways leading to Jutland, Zealand, and the rest of Funen. Just 2.5 km from Middelfart Station – a taxi ride costs around 100 DKK.
