We offer the following upgrade options:

We regret to inform you that we cannot offer extra beds in standard rooms. In our suites, we can offer a maximum of two extra beds.

Children (3-11 years old) pay half of the adult prices. Baby cots cost DKK 125,-. Extra beds must be booked in advance.

It is allowed to bring "quiet" and "house-trained" dogs in 3 of our superior rooms, provided it is notified before the stay. For an additional cost of DKK 250 per night. Please contact us in advance if you have a dog with you.

Translation: Regardless of how one wishes to pay for their stay, an authorization for the price of the stay + an additional DKK 500 per night will be taken as a guarantee for the stay at check-in. If paid with a gift card or cash, the authorized amount will be released after check-out. It is recommended to inform the receptionist if the stay is reserved with a debit card, as the amount is not withdrawn but only blocked by the bank.

When you arrive at the hotel, you will be asked to fill out a registration form, sign it, and show valid ID if requested. This is in accordance with Danish law.

If your stay does not include dinner, you can cancel your reservation free of charge until 4 pm on the day of arrival. If the room is cancelled after 4 pm, we will charge for the first night.

A prepaid "non-refundable stay" cannot be cancelled.

Rooms with dinner included can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days prior to arrival. If you cancel between 6 and 2 days prior to arrival, we will charge 50% of the total price of the stay. If you cancel less than 2 days prior to arrival, we will charge the full amount for the stay. Stays with nine people or more must be cancelled 30 days prior to arrival.

At Comwell Kongebrogaarden, you can use all common credit cards. Note that there is a fee for foreign credit cards.

Comwell reserves the right to pre-authorize your credit/debit card prior to your arrival. Comwell.dk will not charge your credit card unless you book a "non-refundable stay".

Your credit card is only used as a guarantee for your reservation.

If you use a debit card for your booking, your bank will reserve the amount for 30 days. If you want to release the funds before the 30-day period is over, you should contact the hotel directly with your reservation number, and the hotel will assist in releasing the funds. Comwell can notify your bank via DIBS to release the amount, but only your bank can delete the reservation of the amount. Debit cards are Visa Electron, Maestro, or MasterCard Direct.

A breakfast buffet is served Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Sunday and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

The restaurant is open every day from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

As a guest, you can always buy coffee and cake in our cozy fireplace bar. And we have a small bar menu from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The menus included in the stays are fixed and vary daily. We are happy to customize the menu for allergies and vegetarians if notified before arrival.

Here you can purchase drinks, coffee, snacks, and cake. We also have a small bar-menu with light dishes from 3.00 pm. to 9.00 pm.

Breakfast in the room can be ordered until the evening before with a room service fee of DKK 100 per order.

Comwell Kongebrogaarden is a non-smoking hotel. As it is a wooden building, smoking is not allowed on the rooftop terrace or balconies. A fee of DKK 2,500 will be charged for smoking in the room or on the balcony/rooftop terrace.

All of our duvets and pillows are allergy tested. Always inform us of any allergies prior to your stay.

Our reception is staffed 24/7 and always ready to assist you with anything you may need.

Parking is free and takes place in the public parking lot close to the hotel.

If you need to charge your electric car, we have 6 charging stations available. Parking is free, but there is a user fee for the electricity via the Clever app, and you must bring your own cable.

We offer free wireless internet throughout the hotel. You connect by selecting 'comwellhotels' as Wi-Fi and then logging in with the code 'comwellhotels'.

The nearest station is Middelfart (2.5 km walking distance).

All stays require the input of a payment card, even if you have a gift card. No payment is taken upon entering your card details. All stays are settled at the hotel - except for non-refundable stays, where the amount is charged upon booking. These stays cannot be refunded or moved.

Please note that if you use a MasterCard Debit or VISA Debit as a guarantee, the amount will be reserved on your account and will only be released after departure. It can take up to 30 days depending on which card issuer you use.

If you have a gift card valid for all Comwell hotels, you can book your stay online and settle with the gift card at check-out. Credit card information provided during online booking is only a guarantee of arrival.

Gift cards cannot be used to pay for prepaid non-refundable stays.

All our hotels have the Danish Organic Cuisine Bronze Label, which means that 30-60% of all our food and beverage purchases are organic. We believe that the Organic Cuisine Label will improve the quality and taste experience that our kitchens provide our guests.

We take active measures to prevent food waste. We, therefore, make sure that our food waste is recycled as biogas and second-generation biodiesel.

All Comwell hotels are Green Key certified, which means that an extra effort is made to protect the environment. We are Denmark's most sustainable hotel chain, and we use local ingredients to the extent possible instead of importing foreign ingredients.

You automatically earn 5% of the total amount of your final bill for any overnight stay. All points earned can be used as payment for your next overnight stay, with the exception of stays involving conferences and meetings.
