Comwell Hotels named Denmark's Best Hotel Chain at the Danish Travel Awards 2025

“The guests have spoken”

Last night, Comwell Hotels lifted the trophy for Best Hotel Chain 2025 at the prestigious Danish Travel Awards, which took place at Wallmans Cirkusbygningen in Copenhagen. The award is based on a nationwide consumer survey conducted by the analysis and consulting firm EPINION, in which a panel of 3,000 Danes assessed their experiences with the country's hotel chains.

"We are incredibly proud to be named Denmark's Best Hotel Chain 2025. It is the guests' own experiences that have counted, and that makes the award particularly valuable. We will, of course, continue to develop our hotels and guest experiences so that our guests always feel a personal, safe, and modern atmosphere. The fact that our guests give us such high recommendations is the greatest recognition we can receive. A big thank you to our more than 1,500 employees who, every day, provide the hospitality and quality that makes the difference," says Peter Schelde, CEO of Comwell Hotels.

The Danish Travel Awards is the biggest event of the year in the Danish travel, tourism, and aviation industry and was held for the 28th time this year. The event brought together over 500 decision-makers from the travel industry in Denmark and Scandinavia. The awards are presented in 24 categories as well as three special awards. The winners are selected through EPINION's consumer analysis, where candidates are evaluated based on guests' own experiences and recommendations.

For more than 50 years, Comwell Hotels has been one of Denmark's leading hotel chains, focusing on sustainability, modern meeting facilities, and personal hospitality—and can now add the title of Best Hotel Chain 2025 to its list of accolades.
