Two proud winners of two impressive awards!

Comwell Kellers Park and Comwell H. C. Andersen Odense - dolce by Wyndham were each honoured with a great award yesterday. The two hotels were awarded ‘Best Hotel in Jutland’ and ‘Best Hotel on Zealand, Funen and the Islands’. The awards were presented at the ‘Danish Travel Awards 2024’ in the Circus Building in Copenhagen. Here, 500 representatives from the travel, tourism and aviation industry were gathered to celebrate the best hotels and travel operators in Denmark.

The Danish-owned hotel chain Comwell Hotels is delighted with the awards, which once again confirm Comwell's strong position in the market.

‘We are very proud that two of our hotels have won such great awards. First and foremost, it is a recognition of our dedicated employees who work hard every day to give our guests a unique experience with good hospitality at the forefront,’ says Peter Schelde, CEO of Comwell Hotels.

Two hotels with their own distinctive character

Comwell is known for its unique hotels throughout Denmark, each with their own unique character. This is also very true for Comwell Kellers Park and Comwell H. C. Andersen Odense.

Comwell Kellers Park is beautifully located by Vejle Fjord in a historic setting with its white classic buildings. The hotel also offers an inviting spa area, which earlier this year was named ‘Spa of the Year’ at the Danish Beauty Awards. Comwell H.C. Andersen Odense is a cultural oasis in the heart of Odense. With its focus on meetings and large conferences, the hotel has a solid reputation in the business community, while also attracting guests from Denmark and abroad who want to explore Funen's many attractions.

The two hotel managers are very enthusiastic and thank their colleagues for their hard work and dedication: ‘I am overwhelmed and proud. Not least for the amazing team I have around me, who deliver a high level of service every day - and always go the extra mile for the guests,’ says Maria Munkebo, Hotel Manager at Comwell Kellers Park. Ninna Stæhr-Petersen, Hotel Director at Comwell H. C. Andersen Odense agrees: ‘I'm incredibly happy. The last five years have been a wild and exciting journey. Every year we have welcomed new colleagues, and I have no doubt that each and every one of them can share the credit for taking home the award for ‘Best Hotel on Zealand, Funen and the Islands’ yesterday.’

The awards ceremony is organised by Travelmedia Nordic - including Check-in.dk, Standby.dk and Turisme24.dk.
