Festival guests at Denmark's most beautiful festival can now experience a mini Comwell hotel experience during this year's Smukfest. Comwell and the festival in Skanderborg have partnered in a multi-year strategic partnership that unites a common desire to create memorable experiences for the meeting of people in an inspiring setting.

Based on the idea “A Comwell hotel experience in mini format at Denmark's most beautiful festival”, festival guests at Smukfest - in the popular camp area Sølund Midt - are offered a unique opportunity for comfortable accommodation with breakfast. A service that Comwell is used to providing at the chain's hotels for many thousands of guests every year.

“We're looking forward to working with Smukfest and moving our well-known hotel experience into a different environment for a while. We see a good target group match, so it's a great opportunity to bring some of our own core competencies, which are about safety, hospitality and presence, into play in new surroundings,” says Michael Hansen, Commercial Director at Comwell Hotels, and continues:

“We look forward to creating a cozy breathing space for guests and showing how Comwell also contributes to unique and enriching moments here.”

A bit like a hotel room

The Comwell area, which consists of a reception with Comwell's excellent staff and a total of 75 tenthouses with room for two in each, is located in a fenced area and is aimed specifically at the guest who wants to combine a party with comfort and wellbeing. The tents have a 'lock on the door', a small lamp, soft duvets and pillows, and power plugs for charging your phone.

“It's a bit like a hotel room - with everything you need for a good night's sleep plus breakfast. The area also offers a common area where you can relax with friends and plan the day's festival adventure,” says Michael Hansen.

A good match with Smukfest's DNA

Smukfest is also excited about the new partnership, which will help make the festival experience even better.

“We are delighted to have Comwell on board as a playmate. The hotel chain's strong focus on sublime hospitality fits perfectly into our association's DNA. Together we will create magical moments where guests can both party and recharge for a new day in an extra comfortable festival setting. A concept that is ideal for many of our one-day guests,” says Allan Baunsgaard, Marketing and Partnership Manager at Smukfest.

Comwell and Smukfest are currently finalizing the festival concept, which will also include elements from the hotel chain's strong meeting and conference universe.
