New general manager at Comwell Centralværkstedet­

The Danish hotel chain Comwell Hotels has welcomed Kathrine Brinkløv as the new General Manager at Comwell Centralværkstedet in Aarhus. Kathrine comes with solid experience from the service industry from both Danish and international hotel chains. Now she will be in charge of running and developing Comwell's unique venue Centralværkstedet with a focus on tailor-made events for both private and business guests.

Kathrine Brinkløv comes from a previous position as Event Manager at Tivoli Hotel & Congres Center and before that from similar positions at the Hilton and Rosewood hotel chains in England. Kathrine has solid experience in planning and executing large events, congresses and conferences and has also been responsible for planning and concept development for major social events including exclusive weddings.

Kathrine Brinkløv has a degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Management from Dania Business Academy in Randers and has also studied International Hotel Management at Sheffield Hallam University in England. Today, Kathrine lives close to Aarhus with her daughter.

Facts about Centralværkstedet

Comwell Centralværkstedet is centrally located in Aarhus - a one-minute walk from Comwell Aarhus and close to both the city's train station and Molslinjen. Here you will find both Centralværkstedet and the associated venue Smedien. The current event venues are former workshop buildings for the country's DSB trains, which today create an urban and atmospheric setting for both private and corporate events.

  • Centralværkstedet: 1200 m2 with room for 700 guests in rows of chairs and 352 guests at round tables.

The vines have been planted and are now allowed to grow and develop. The rootstock is an American Bionova with a grafting of Solaris, Regent, Souvignier Gris and Muscaris. The first harvest of grapes is expected next year.
