Activities at the Hotel
Tailored Walking and Running Routes
Is the freedom to incorporate nature into your daily exercise high on your list of priorities? Then join us on a walking/running route and explore the hotel’s nature surroundings. We’ve created three different digital running routes and added them to the RunGo app, which uses turn-by-turn navigation to show you which route to run, the remaining distance and which roads or paths you should take. Just like a car’s GPS system.
The shorter three-kilometre route is also recommended as a walk-and-talk route for a healthy break during a meeting or seminar.RunGo is free and available for iOS and Android – for both smartphones and Apple Watch.
Various Board Games
Board games are more popular than ever, and everyone can join in. We have a selection of different board games that you are welcome to borrow. Just ask at the reception.
Pool Table
We have a pool table available - so you can borrow pool cues and balls for a game of billiards!

H. C. Andersen’s House in Odense is the primary museum about the fairy tale poet and author Hans Christian Andersen and is located only 100 metres from our hotel. Odense’s biggest new attraction in years is set to open in summer 2021 – the Hans Christian Andersen Museum. The museum was designed by the famous Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and consists of both indoor and outdoor spaces that together extend across 12,600 m2 (2/3 of the museum is underground).

If you want to experience what it was like to sit in the royal carriages or in first class in the old days, or experience Denmark's oldest preserved steam locomotive from 1868 up close, then you should visit the Danish Railway Museum, which is located next to Odense Railway Station. Exhibits include an extensive collection of train carriages, locomotives, models of trains and ferries and other effects. The exhibits give an impression of Denmark's railway history, particularly that of the State Railways.
Odense Cathedral
St. Canute's Cathedral, also known as Odense Cathedral, is named after St. Canute, who was murdered in 1086 in St. Alban's Priory, which was close to the present-day church. The church was consecrated on 30th April 1499. The church tower is 63 metres high and is therefore one of Odense's tallest buildings. The cathedral is within walking distance of the hotel.
