Do you want to extend your stay by checking in two hours earlier or checking out two hours later than the applicable times? If so, this can be booked prior to your stay for a fee of DKK 200.

If you arrive early and wish to store your luggage, this can be done in locked luggage rooms - just ask at the reception.

Children under 18 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult in conjunction with their stay.

When you arrive at the hotel you will be asked to complete a registration card, sign it and present valid identification if requested. We are required to do this by Danish law.

In several of our rooms, it is possible to purchase additional beds. Please note that all extra beds are on a sofa and must be pre-booked.

Children (3-11 years old) cost DKK 200 per night. If the child (0-2 years old) sleeps in the parents' bed, there is no charge. A baby cot (0-3 years old) costs DKK 150 per night. An extra bed costs DKK 300 per night.

If you are travelling with several people, we can offer rooms with connecting doors, allowing you to move freely between the rooms.

You are allowed to bring a ‘quiet’ and house-trained dog to some rooms. This must be booked in advance. An additional cost of DKK 250 per night. Please note, dogs must not be left alone in the room.

If your stay does not include dinner, the stay can be cancelled free of charge before 4pm on the day of arrival. If the room is cancelled after 4pm, we will charge for the first night.

A prepaid "non-refundable stay" cannot be cancelled.

Rooms with dinner can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. If cancelled between 6 and 2 days before arrival, 50% of the stay's price will be charged. If cancelled less than 2 days before arrival, the full amount of the stay will be charged. Stays with nine or more people must be cancelled 30 days before.

With a lift to all floors and 3 particularly handicap-friendly rooms, our hotel is handicap-friendly for both people with walking difficulties and wheelchair users.

Comwell HC. Andersen Odense accepts all popular credit cards. Please note there is a fee on foreign credit cards. 

Comwell reserves the right to have your credit/debit card pre-authorized in advance of your arrival. Comwell.com will not debit funds from your credit card unless you have booked a non-refundable stay.

Your credit card serves as the guarantee for your booking. 

When booking with a debit card, your bank will reserve the amount for 30 days. Should you wish the amount to be made available after your stay and the 30 days period has not yet elapsed, please contact the hotel directly stating your booking number. The hotel will help you to make the funds available once more. Comwell can inform your bank to release the funds via DIBS payment services. Only your bank is able to cancel the reserved amount, however. Debit cards are Visa Electron, Maestro or MasterCard Direct.

Breakfast is served Monday-Friday from 6:30am-10am. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 7:30am-11am.

If you need to leave early, we can arrange a breakfast bag for you, which will be served in the reception area at the time you request. This must be ordered the evening before by 8:30pm at the latest.

The restaurant is open Monday-Saturday 5:30 pm-11:00 pm. The kitchen closes at 9.00 pm. Table reservation is recommended. Please note that à la carte tables for dinner are subject to availability.

Dinners with an overnight stay are fixed and vary daily. The dinner cannot be moved to other days. We are happy to adapt the menu for allergy sufferers, vegetarians and suchlike if notified in advance.

Closing days
Our restaurant is closed on Sundays and during the Christmas and New Year period. Please contact reception for specific dates on (+45) 6614 7800.

You can buy cocktails, craft beers, soft drinks and coffee and more in our bar/café.

Always inform us in advance if you have allergies - also when it comes to food.

Our reception is staffed 24/7 and is always ready to assist you with anything you need.

The nearest station is Odense Station, which is located 1 km from the hotel. Trains depart to/from Copenhagen and Jutland twice an hour.

Parking during your stay can be done at the "Q-Park Comwell H.C. Andersen" parking lot, located next to the hotel. We have 90 parking spaces available, subject to availability. It is not possible to pre-book.

The cost is DKK 45 per commenced hour, a max of DKK 150 per day.

If you park in our parking lot, your license plate will be registered upon entry and exit via a camera, and payment must be made before exiting through the designated machine. Please note that you must end and pay for your parking at every exit.

If there are no more spaces in our parking lot, we refer you to Odense's public parking garage nearby (please note that different parking rules and payment conditions apply there).

If you need to charge your car, we have 4 charging stations available in our own parking area. The price is the ordinary parking fee plus the price for power, delivered by Clever (via app). Remember to bring your own cables. 

Free wireless internet access is available to all our guests. Get connected by selecting the Wi-Fi network 'Comwellhotels'. No code is required.

We have a treadmill, bicycles and a small selection of weights. 

Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. This also applies to E-cigarettes. Smoking is only permitted next to the ashtrays outside the hotel.

All stays require payment card entry, even if you have a gift card. Payment will not be charged when entering your card details. All stays are settled at the hotel - except for non-refundable stays, where the amount is deducted when booking. These stays are non-refundable or non-transferable. Please note that if you use a MasterCard Debit or VISA Debit as a guarantee, the amount will be reserved in your account and will only be released again after departure, and can last up to 30 days. 

If you have a gift card valid for all Comwell hotels, you can book your stay online and settle with gift cards at check out. Credit cards for online booking are only a guarantee of arrival.

Gift cards cannot be used to pay for prepaid non-refundable stays.

Gift cards from Gavefabrikken must always be ordered via the link that comes with the gift card and cannot be used as payment unless the stay is specifically booked through this. 

All our hotels are Green Key certified, which means that we make an extra effort to protect the environment. We also go to great lengths to be a sustainable hotel, which uses local produce wherever possible, instead of importing produce from abroad.

You automatically earn 5% of the total amount of your final bill for any overnight stay. All points earned can be used as payment for your next overnight stay, with the exception of stays involving conferences and meetings.
