Information about COVID-19


We will take care of you and our employees

At Comwell, we continue to do everything in our power to ensure that as a guest, you feel safe when you stay at our hotels which are still open. Safety for you and for our employees takes absolute priority.

Therefore, we have taken the following measures:

  • We are in continuous dialogue with relevant authorities, and we are taking the necessary precautions in accordance with their recommendations
  • We have implemented enhanced cleaning procedures in all our hotels
  • We have put up extra hand sanitiser dispensers for our guests and employees at all of our hotels.
  • Clear signage has been put up with the Danish Health Authority’s recommendations for good hygiene in all our hotels
  • Co-work areas at all of our hotels are currently closed
  • All our employees have received detailed information and instructions on the basis of official recommendations


As a guest at Comwell, we recommend that you follow official guidelines: 

  • Wash your hands frequently or use our dispensers with hand sanitiser
  • Cough or sneeze into your sleeve
  • The Danish Health Authority also recommends sneezing into a tissue that is subsequently thrown out immediately
  • Limit physical contact
  • If you are ill or show symptoms of being infected with coronavirus, we ask that you stay at home.


Stays booked at one of the hotels which have been temporarily closed
We will refund the entire stay. You can also choose to postpone your stay to a later date.

Cancellation of bookings for rooms with or without breakfast
Bookings for rooms with or without breakfast can be cancelled free of charge until 16:00 on the day of arrival. If the booking for the room is cancelled after 16:00 local time, we will invoice for the first night. 

Cancellation of Non-refundable/advance purchases
Bookings for prepaid stays, such as events, concerts and special events, are all paid for in advance and cannot be changed, cancelled or refunded after they have been booked. Payment is deducted from the payment card at the time of booking. The website will always state whether stays, events, concerts and special events are paid for in advance. 

Cancellation of stays with dinner and/or spa treatments
Stays with dinner, sports and/or spa treatments can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. If a cancellation is made between 6 and 2 days prior to arrival, 50% of the price of the stay will be invoiced. If a cancellation is made fewer than 2 days prior to arrival, the full price of the stay will be invoiced.


We are currently working hard to move a number of large meetings and conferences, in cooperation with our customers. We would like to extend our thanks for the understanding shown to us by everyone in this difficult situation.

Meetings at a price of less than DKK 200,000 scheduled before 31. October, 2020

Furthermore, we have great understanding of our customers' situation and therefore offer special cancellation terms for all meetings and conferences with a booked value of less than DKK 200,000, scheduled to take place before 31. October. These can be cancelled up to 10 days before the scheduled meeting free of charge. 

We now offer the following special cancellation terms for meetings with a value of less than DKK 200,000 scheduled for before 31. October.

  • More than 10 days before the first day of the event: Free of charge 
  • Less than 10 days before the first day of the event: Invoiced at 75% of what was most recently agreed 
  • Less than 48 hours before the first day of the event: Invoiced at 100% of what was most recently agreed 
  • Cancellation of up to 10% of the participants on the order confirmation can be done free of charge, up to 48 hours prior to the first day of the event 

For other bookings, the following cancellation terms apply for meetings/conferences


For own parties or celebrations, please check the individual cancellation terms found in the contract. 

We are monitoring the situation and instructions from the authorities very carefully, which is why this will be regularly updated.

If we experience a case of coronavirus at one of our hotels, we will immediately contact the health authorities to launch a coordinated action plan based on their recommendations and guidelines.

We all face a difficult time, but we are constantly working to make your stay with us safe and enjoyable. Therefore, our precautions will be updated continuously.
