HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN ASSEMBLE FOR MEETINGS AND CONFERENCES?
The assembly ban still applies, but it will be phased out by 1 August. However, there are certain exemptions that allow more people to meet than indicated by the assembly ban.

EXEMPTIONS TO THE ASSEMBLY BAN
From 6 May, conferences and meetings with a business and professional purpose can be held with up to 1,000 participants

The workplace exemption (cf. section 4(4) of the Executive Order on the prohibition of large assemblies) allows a workplace to hold meetings, conferences, classes and the like with more participants than indicated by the assembly ban, provided the event is a natural or necessary part of the performance of the enterprise in question.

It is permitted to meet across companies and geographical locations if the above requirement is met.

Classes, exams, etc. that require physical attendance and are approved by a ministry can also be carried out, cf. section 3(4) of the Executive Order on the prohibition of large assemblies.

INDOOR ASSEMBLY BAN
