Company party, anniversary, kick-off, team building, Christmas party. All guaranteed to be a blast! Comwell Aarhus offers the full experience from the time you check in until you check out. Contact us as soon as you have a date for your company party and come by. And if you can't meet in person, we can easily handle all contact and coordination via email and phone, as we have done it before! And we love having guests and have held plenty of parties.
Some companies have the entire concept figured out, while others want us to take the lead. Some start in the morning with meetings and some have one or more activities on the program. In any case, we always offer professional advice and handling. And we're happy to provide ideas for invitations, themes, and menus.
If you have special requests, such as themed parties, we'll get help from our neighbors at Centralværkstedet and Smedien just across the street. They are 'up for anything,' and we'll provide the venue for your meetings and overnight stay
Company party in the kitchen
Our head chef and sous chef are a pair of ambitious gentlemen fueled by culinary passion and enthusiasm, always ready to give it their all. The kitchen at Comwell Aarhus is known for its gastronomic magic. The ingredients are predominantly organic, and we prefer to source from talented local producers simply because we hold the deepest respect for the ingredients and know how they taste when freshly harvested, plucked, or pulled from the earth. Our menus are naturally generous with all that the various seasons have to offer, and we don't place food on plates with tweezers. Instead, we provide UHM-worthy culinary experiences with flair and ensure that everyone is satisfied!
You are always welcome to upgrade your 3-course menu to a 4-course one, as well as upgrade your wine.
Which party venue should you choose?
Of course, HAY is part of the party! And the beautiful design helps to give our party venues each their expression. Party room K on the 2nd floor is not only popular for its design but also for its view. And party rooms A, B, and C have magnificent chandeliers that can be raised and lowered. In party room C, you also have your own terrace and lounge furniture. But come and see for yourself!
The carpet in your party room not only helps to create a cohesive look but is also essential for acoustics. When it's time to dance, we have a real dance floor that we lay out, so you don't have to dance on the carpet. Our stage has spotlights. And all rooms are equipped with an iPad system for lighting and sound, so you can turn up the music! We also highly recommend our in-house DJ because we know he can pack a dance floor!
To convert your meeting or conference room into a party room, we can go from 0-250 party-goers in just two hours. Here, you are welcome to go to your room and change clothes or have a drink at our bar.
We set up and decorate for your company party
As a starting point, we cover the tables with white tablecloths and napkins, and white candles. But we have a variety of colors you can choose from if you want to be inspired by HAY's inviting color combinations. We also collaborate with floral artist Karsten Pindstrup, who knows our beautiful party venues and knows what looks good. All other table decorations are not included, but if you want to decorate further, we are happy to help for an additional fee.
Company party with golden taps
And go all out with festivities, for example, with our popular tap wall in the bar, where bottles have been replaced with taps for self-service, all in the spirit of sustainability. With this Wonderwall, you not only avoid waiting in line at the bar, but you also have the opportunity to taste a variety of beverages, such as 12 different types of beer. Additionally, these golden taps contain delightful, organic cocktails from Nohrlund and, of course, Comwell's gin, created in collaboration with the good people from Njord Gin Distillery down on Kalkværksvej. The Njord guys are also happy to come over and do a gin tasting for you.
Both drinks and beer can be customized to your preferences.

The hotel is located close to the bus, light rail, train station, and Kombardo. There are plenty of parking spaces at the hotel and in the parking garage across the street.

Terms and Conditions
What about payment, cancellation, and children's discounts? Read more about what is worth knowing when you hold a party at Comwell Aarhus.
Cancellation can be made free of charge up to 3 months before the 1st day of the event.
Between 1-3 months before the 1st day of the event, 50% of the ordered amount will be invoiced.
Less than 1 month before the 1st day of the event, 100% will be invoiced.
However, cancellation'* of up to 10% of the reported number of participants can be made free of charge up to 48 hours before the event.
*By cancellation, which must always be made in writing, is meant cancellation, reduction, shortening, relocation, as well as similar significant changes about the confirmation.
The following discounts apply after payment has been made for a minimum of 30 adults.
For children who receive the same party menu as the adults, the following discounts apply to the menu:
Children up to 3 years old are free.
Children between 3-12 years old receive a 50% discount
