Let the park provide a unique setting for a beautiful ceremony and reception with a pavilion and benches. At the same time, you give your wedding photographer (and the company's Instagrammers!) a treat.

After the beautiful ceremony, guests can check in and get dressed for the evening's festivities. The beauty of a wedding at Comwell Borupgaard is not only the surroundings but also that everything is in one place. No need to worry about driving home or hassling with taxis and buses. At Comwell, you and your guests can combine your wedding with an overnight stay in a beautiful setting. A hotel overnight stay is a great and relaxing way to end a wonderful celebration.

But first, a little wedding planning and to-dos before the 'I do'

Successful weddings have one common denominator - planning! We recommend that you come to Borupgaard a year to a year and a half before the day you say 'I do'. You will visit us and get a tour of our function rooms so you can see and feel if Borupgaard is the place for you. We'll discuss prices and options, and once you've decided on a date and accepted the offer, we'll put a "save the date" in the calendar for your wedding.

Well before the wedding, our experienced and highly skilled event coordinators will make sure to go through all the wishes you have for your dream wedding. Together with the party coordinator and head chef, you will handpick your unique menu to match your wishes and budget.

Our kitchen works at a high gastronomic level with a focus on sustainability and seasonal local and Danish ingredients. For example, we get our organic meat from Grambogaard. We (and you) do a thorough preparation so that together we can create the party you want. About 10 days before the actual day of the party, we go through the last vital details together so that everything is ready and you can sit back knowing that we have the framework for the party completely under control.

Which venue should you choose?

The Borupgaard Hall in the main building and the hotel's cosy atmosphere? Or Hasselbalch's thatched idyll with thick whitewashed walls, small mullioned windows, deep window sills and a terrace overlooking the park? And which table setting?

Whatever you choose, it's safe and cosy. We often hear that it's like coming home. We place great emphasis on presence and hospitality and getting to know you well.

In Borupgaard Salen, we set up round tables that can seat eight, nine or ten people. There is room for a maximum of 330 guests, but not at round tables.

In Hasselbalchs Hus, we also set up round tables with seating for eight, nine or ten people. This allows for a maximum of 60 people in total. If you choose oval tables with room for 12 people, you can seat a maximum of 72 people.

Classic wedding decorations and beautiful table decorations

Our wedding venues are charming and elegant in their own right and don't need much. There's not a lot of room for decorations, but you are of course welcome to decorate with place cards and flowers or leave it to us.

De-stress with a spa stay

There's nothing like a spa stay to calm wedding jitters! And our exquisite spa, including a brechelbath, outdoor hot tub, and whirlpool, can take the edge off even the worst wedding stress. A spa and wellness stay is popular with brides and their friends before the wedding or bridal couples who extend their stay from Sunday to Monday with some well-deserved pampering.
