Check-in & check-out
Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out on is before 10 am on all weekdays. Check-out on saturdays, holidays and public holidays is before 11 am, and Sundays before 12 pm.
Wish to extend your stay with either early check-in (2 hours before), or late check-out (2 hours later) than the current times? Book this before check-in against a fee of DKK 200,-.
Children under 18 years must always be accompanied by/live with an adultm, when staying with us.
Regardless of how you wish to pay your stay, you will receive an authorization for the price of the stay + DKK 500, - extra per. night upon check-in, as a guarantee for the stay. If you pay with a gift card or in cash, the amount that is authorized, will be released after check-out.
It is recommended to inform our receptionist, if your stay is booked with a debit card, as the amount is not deducted, but simply blocked by the bank.
When you arrive at the hotel, you will be asked to fill out a registration card, sign, and present a valid ID. This is done in accordance with the Danish law.
Extra bed in the room
There can be a maximum of one extra bed per. room. Extra beds must always be pre-booked.
Upgrading room types
It is possible to upgrade from a small standard twin room to a standard double with a view for DKK 100,- per room/night. Upgrading to a superior room, with or without its own terrace costs DKK 200,- and upgrading to a superior plus rooms with a view costs DKK 300,-. Upgrading to a Family room costs DKK 300,- If you are in doubt about your upgrade options, please contact the reception
Dogs in the room
It is allowed to bring up to two "quiet" and clean dogs in the room, provided it is announced prior to the stay. This costs DKK 250,- pr. night in addition to standard room charge. Dogs are only allowed in selected standard and superior rooms. Note that the price may vary depending on the date.
Cancellation of stay
If your stay does not include dinner, the stay can be cancelled before 4 pm on the day of arrival for free. If the room is cancelled after 4 pm we charge for the first night.
A prepaid "non-refundable stay" can not be cancelled.
Room/stays including dinner can be cancelled free of charge no later than 7 days before arrival. If you cancel between 6 and 2 days before arrival, 50% of the price of the stay will be charged. If you cancel less than 2 days before arrival, the full amount of the stay will be charged. Stays including 9 guests or more, must be canceled 30 days in advance.
We have some wheelchair accessible superior rooms and our entrance, reception and the restaurant are all located on the same (ground) level.
At Comwell Roskilde you can use all common types of credit cards. Please note that a fee on foreign credit cards.
Comwell reserves the right to pre-authorize your credit/debit card prior to arrival.
Comwell.dk does not charge your credit card, unless you book a "non refundable stay". Your credit card is only used as a guarantee for your reservation. If you use a debit card for your order, your bank will reserve the amount for 30 days. If you want to have the money released after the stay before the 30 days have passed, you must contact the hotel directly with your reservation number, and the hotel will help release the money. Comwell can via DIBS notify your bank to release the amount, but only your bank can cancel the reservation of the amount. Debit cards are Visa Elektron, Maestro or MasterCard Direct.
Opening hours in restaurant and bar
The bar is open Monday to Saturday, where we serve lunch and dinner from the bar menu from 12 to 9 pm. You can order drinks at the bar from 5.30-9 pm. Sunday closed.
Dinner is served Monday to Saturday from kl. 6-9 pm in our restaurant. Reservations are recommended in the restaurant, and reservations are made for sold-out days.
From the 4th of July to the 13th of August: In the evening we offer our guests a delicious summer barbecue buffet from 5.30-9 in the restaurant.
Breakfast is served Monday to Friday at 6.30-9 and on weekends at 7.30-10.
From 4 July to 13 August: Breakfast every day at 7-10.
Grab and go
We offer both breakfast and lunch packages if desired. This should ideally be ordered beforehand, or before 8 pm the previous night at the latest. Contact the reception for more info and to order.
Always notify in advance if you have allergies - also when it comes to food.
Our reception is staffed 24 hours a day and always ready to help you with the least.
We offer room service from kl. 12.00-21.00 Monday-Saturday. For room service, there is a supplement of DKK 75.

The nearest train station is Roskilde Station - which is located 3 km. from the hotel. Taxi booking - contact the reception tel. (+45) 46 323 131. Bus stop is close to the hotel.
Parking is free and takes place in our large parking area.
Charging electric cars
At Comwell Roskilde you can use a charging station for your electric car. The parking spot itself is free, but there is a user payment for the electricity via the Clever app, and you must bring your own cables.
We offer free wireless internet throughout the hotel. You connect by selecting 'comwellhotels' as wi-fi and then logging in with the code 'comwellhotels'. Alternatively, there is a computer with internet connection for free use, ask at the reception.
We have our own gym available 24 hours a day. The key to our fitness room is available at our reception. Kindly bring your own towel in the fitness room.
All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. Smoking is allowed on all shared terraces (except when serving food).

Booking a stay online
All stays require payment card entry, even if you have a gift card. Payment will not be charged when entering your card details. All stays are settled at the hotel - except for non-refundable stays, where the amount is deducted when booking. These stays are non-refundable or non-transferable. Please note that if you use a MasterCardDebit or VISA Debit as a guarantee, the amount will be reserved in your account and will only be released again after departure, and can last up to 30 days.
If you have a gift card valid for all Comwell hotels, you can book your stay online and settle with gift cards at check out. Credit cards for online booking are only a guarantee of arrival. Please note we do not accept gift cards from other Comwell hotels. Gift cards cannot be used to pay for prepaid non-refundable stays. Gift cards from the gift factory must always be ordered via the link that comes with the gift card and cannot be used as payment unless the stay is specifically booked through this.
The Organic Food Label
All our hotels have been awarded the Organic Food Label in bronze, which means that 30-60% of all our purchased food and beverages are organic. We believe that the Organic Food Label will enhance the quality and taste experience in our kitchens, for the benefit of our guests.
The ReFood Brand
We make an active effort to eliminate food waste and therefore recycle food waste, for e.g. Biogas and second generation biodiesel.
All our hotels are Green Key certified, which means that extra efforts are made to protect the environment. At the same time, we strive to be a sustainable hotel that uses local raw materials to the extent possible, rather than importing foreign raw materials.
You automatically earn 5% of the total amount on your final bill, by staying overnight. All earned points can be used as payment during your next stay with accommodation - but not in connection with conferences and meetings.
