Questions and Answers about Comwell Roskilde

Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out is before 10am on all weekdays. Check-out on Saturdays, holidays and public holidays is before 11am, and Sundays before 12pm. 

Wish to extend your stay with either early check-in (2 hours before), or late check-out (2 hours later) than the current times? Book this before check-in against a fee of DKK 200,-. 

Children under 18 years must always be accompanied by/live with an adult when staying with us.

Regardless of when you want to pay for your stay, authorization will be made to your card, for the price of your stay and an additional DKK 500 per night, as a guarantee for your stay. If you are paying by gift voucher or cash, the authorized amount will be released to your account when you check out.

We recommend that you inform the receptionist if your say has been reserved with a debit card, as the reserved amount is not actually withdrawn. It is only blocked by the bank.

When you arrive at the hotel, you will be asked to fill out a registration card, sign, and present a valid ID. This is done in accordance with the Danish law.  

There can be a maximum of one extra bed per. room. Extra beds must always be pre-booked. 

• Children (0-2 years old) sleeping in the parent's bed are free of charge 

• Children (0-2 years) in a baby cot cost DKK 150,- pr. night 

• Children (3-11 years) extra bed costs DKK 150,- pr. night 

• Adult: Extra bed costs DKK 250,-.

It is possible to upgrade from a Small Standard Twin room to a Standard Plus with a view for DKK 100,- per room/night. Upgrading to a Superior room, with or without its own terrace costs DKK 200,- and upgrading to a Superior Plus room with a view costs DKK 500,-. Upgrading to a Family room costs DKK 300,-. If you are unsure about your upgrade options, please contact the reception.

It is allowed to bring up to two "quiet" and clean dogs in the room provided it is announced prior to the stay. This costs DKK 250,- pr. night in addition to the standard room charge. Dogs are only allowed in selected standard and superior rooms. Note that the price may vary depending on the date. 

We have some wheelchair-accessible superior rooms and our entrance, reception and the restaurant are all located on the same (ground) level. 

Restaurant
Our restaurant is open from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. Reservations are required and can be made at the front desk.

Bar
Our bar is open Monday to Saturday from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Food is available from our bar menu Monday to Saturday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Free coffee and tea is available from the machine in the bar at the front desk until 6:00 PM, every day.

Breakfast is served every weekday from 06:30 to 09:00 and 7:30 to 10:00 on the weekends.

We offer both breakfast and lunch packages if desired. This should ideally be ordered beforehand or before 8pm the previous night at the latest. Contact the reception for more info and to order. 

Always notify in advance if you have allergies - also when it comes to food. 

Our reception is staffed 24 hours a day and always ready to help you with the least.

We also offer Hotel Rider, a QR code in the reception that you can use.

The nearest train station is Roskilde Station - which is located 3 km. from the hotel. Taxi booking - contact the reception by telephone at (+45) 46 323 131. The bus stop is close to the hotel. 

Parking is free and takes place in our large parking area. 

At Comwell Roskilde you can use a charging station for your electric car. The parking spot itself is free, but there is a user payment for the electricity via the Clever app, and you must bring your own cables.

We offer free wireless internet throughout the hotel. You connect by selecting 'comwellhotels' as wi-fi and then logging in with the code 'comwellhotels'. Alternatively, there is a computer with an internet connection for free use, ask at the reception. 

We have our own gym available 24 hours a day. Kindly bring your own towel to the fitness room.

All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. Smoking is allowed on all shared terraces (except when serving food). 

We offer both washing and cleaning through an external company in Roskilde. Contact the reception for more information and prices. 

It is artist Peter Skovgaard who decorated the hotel with his paintings back in 2011.

All stays require payment card entry, even if you have a gift card. Payment will not be charged when entering your card details. All stays are settled at the hotel - except for non-refundable stays, where the amount is deducted when booking. These stays are non-refundable or non-transferable. Please note that if you use a MasterCardDebit or VISA Debit as a guarantee, the amount will be reserved in your account and will only be released again after departure, and can last up to 30 days. 

If you have a gift card valid for all Comwell hotels, you can book your stay online and settle with gift cards at check out. Credit cards for online booking are only a guarantee of arrival. Please note we do not accept gift cards from other Comwell hotels. Gift cards cannot be used to pay for prepaid non-refundable stays. Gift cards from Gavefabrikken must always be ordered via the link that comes with the gift card and cannot be used as payment unless the stay is specifically booked through this. 

All our hotels have the Danish Organic Cuisine Bronze Label, which means that 30-60% of all our food and beverage purchases are organic. We believe that the Organic Cuisine Label will improve the quality and taste experience that our kitchens provide our guests.

We take active measures to prevent food waste. We, therefore, make sure that our food waste is recycled as biogas and second-generation biodiesel.

All Comwell hotels are Green Key certified, which means that an extra effort is made to protect the environment. We are Denmark's most sustainable hotel chain, and we use local ingredients to the extent possible instead of importing foreign ingredients.

You automatically earn 5% of the total amount of your final bill for any overnight stay. All points earned can be used as payment for your next overnight stay, with the exception of stays involving conferences and meetings.
