Practical Information About Your Stay at Comwell Holte

Check-in is from 3pm, and check-out is no later than 11am.

Do you want to extend your stay by either two hours earlier check-in or two hours later check-out than the current times? Then this can be booked in advance of your stay for a fee of DKK 200,-.

Children below the age of 18 should always be accompanied by an adult during the stay.



Please be aware, that this hotel is not suitable for guests, who are physically disabled or have difficulty walking. The rooms are accessible by stairs only and there is no escalator. There is a handicapped toilet in the reception.


Stays are always paid upon arrival. If you pay by giftcard or cash, the reserved amount on your credit card will be released. We recommend informing the receptionist, if your stay was booked with a debit card.



When arriving, you will be asked to complete a registration card and show a valid ID. This is in accordance with the Danish law. 

Comwell Holte accepts all popular credit cards. Please note there is a fee on foreign credit cards. 

Comwell reserves the right to have your credit/debit card pre-authorized in advance of your arrival. Comwell.com will not debit funds from your credit card unless you have booked a non-refundable stay.

Your credit card serves as the guarantee for your booking. 

When booking with a debit card, your bank will reserve the amount for 30 days. Should you wish the amount to be made available after your stay and the 30 days period has not yet elapsed, please contact the hotel directly stating your booking number. The hotel will help you to make the funds available once more. Comwell can inform your bank to release the funds via DIBS payment services. Only your bank is able to cancel the reserved amount, however. Debit cards are Visa Electron, Maestro or MasterCard Direct.

If your stay does not include dinner, the stay can be cancelled free of charge until 4pm on the day of arrival. If the room is cancelled after 4pm, we will charge for the first night.

A prepaid "non-refundable stay" cannot be cancelled.

Rooms with dinners, sports, and/or spa treatments can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. If you cancel between 6 and 2 days before arrival, we will charge 50% of the price of the stay. If you cancel less than 2 days before arrival, we will charge the full amount of the stay. Stays with nine or more people must be cancelled 30 days before.


A breakfast buffet is included in most of our stays. If you are in doubt, ask our reception staff. The breakfast buffet is served from 6:30am to 9:30am, with the exception of Sundays and public holidays from 7 to 10am. Ordinary coffee and tea are included in the breakfast buffet. If a special coffee is desired, this can be ordered and paid for at the bar.


Order your breakfast or lunch "To Go". Grab & Go lunch is a delicious sandwich, some sweets and fruit. The price is DKK 135 per person and should be ordered at least 2 hours before, in the reception.
Grab & Go breakfast includes two buns with cold cuts and a piece of fruit. It costs a surcharge of DKK 45 (when included in our stay) and should be ordered in the reception the day before at 9 pm at the latest.


It is a good idea to make a reservation if you want to have dinner at our Restaurant Brasseriet. Please note that there may be limited availability for a la carte tables for dinner.

Menus included in the packages are determined by the head chef and vary daily. We are happy to accommodate special requests for allergies, vegetarian options, or other dietary needs. Please inform us of any special requests prior to your arrival.


Monday to Saturday at 6.00 pm.-9.00 pm.
Sunday: Closed.
Alternatively, you can order from the bar menu Monday to Saturday from 12.30 pm. to 9.00 pm.


Always make sure to tell us about any allergies before arrival.

Visit our cosy lobby bar where cold beverages such as beer, water, wine or cocktails are being served until 9:30pm.
We also have a bar menu with light meals, from which you can order Monday to Saturday from 12.30 pm to 9.00 pm.


There is staff 24/7 in the reception. You can buy snacks, candy and beverages here.

There can be a maximum of 1 extra bed/baby cot per room. Always contact us before arrival if you want an extra bed or cot.

Please note that we charge a supplement for an extra person/bed/cot in the room.


"Quiet" and house-trained dogs are allowed in the room, provided the hotel is notified before arrival. The dog must not be left alone in the room, and there is no access for dogs in the Restaurant Brasseriet. There is an additional charge of DKK 250,- per stay.


Parking is free.

We have an electric charging station where it is possible to pay for charging via the Clever app. Please bring your own cables.

We offer free wireless internet throughout the hotel. To connect, select 'ComwellHotels' as the Wi-Fi network and then log in with the password 'comwellhotels'.


Smoking is not allowed in indoor areas at the hotel. It is only permitted on our outdoor terrace.


The hotel has no air conditioning. It can get quite warm in the rooms when the sun is shining. You can borrow a fan for the room at reception.

There are many stairs at Comwell Holte. There are stairs to all rooms. 


All rooms are cleaned every day. First, the rooms where new guests will arrive are cleaned. Then all other rooms are cleaned. This may well be in the late afternoon. 


We have a shared responsibility to look after the environment. Therefore, we do not automatically change towels in the rooms. If you want new towels, they must be placed on the bathroom floor.

There is no minibar or refrigerator in the rooms. If you want something stored in the fridge or freezer, we will be happy to help you with this, at the reception. 


There is no free coffee and tea at the hotel during your stay. Regular coffee and tea are available for breakfast. If a special coffee is desired, this must be ordered and paid for at the bar throughout the day. There are only coffee and tea sets in our superior rooms and junior suites - not in the two types of standard rooms.

General Information About Your Stay at Comwell

All bookings require that you enter payment card details, even if you have a gift voucher. We do not take your payment when you enter your card details. All stays are paid for at the hotel, with the exception of non-refundable stays for which payment is made when booking. Stays of this type cannot be refunded or transferred to other dates.

Please note that when using MasterCardDebit or VISA Debit as your payment guarantee, the amount will be reserved on your account and will not be released until after your departure. This can take up to 30 days.

If you have a gift voucher redeemable at all Comwell hotels, you can book your stay online and use the gift voucher to pay for your stay when you check out. Credit cards are used for online booking as a guarantee that the guest will arrive. 

Gift vouchers cannot be used to pay for pre-paid non-refundable stays. 

Gift vouchers from Gavefabrikken must always be ordered using the link that you received with the gift voucher. They may not be used as payment unless the stay was specifically ordered using the link.


All our hotels have the Danish Organic Cuisine Bronze Label, which means that 30-60% of all our food and beverage purchases are organic. We believe that the Organic Cuisine Label will improve the quality and taste experience that our kitchens provide our guests.


We take active measures to prevent food waste. We, therefore, make sure that our food waste is recycled as biogas and second-generation biodiesel.


All Comwell hotels are Green Key certified, which means that an extra effort is made to protect the environment. We are Denmark's most sustainable hotel chain, and we use local ingredients to the extent possible instead of importing foreign ingredients.

You automatically earn 5% of the total amount of your final bill for any overnight stay. All points earned can be used as payment for your next overnight stay, with the exception of stays involving conferences and meetings.
