At the annual Danish Beauty Awards on Friday evening in Tivoli Congress Centre, Comwell Kellers Park was honoured as the winner of the 'Spa of the Year' category. The prestigious award show traditionally recognises and celebrates the best in the Danish beauty and cosmetics industry.
On Friday evening, the Danish-owned hotel chain Comwell Hotels received a great recognition. Comwell Kellers Park, the hotel chain's Jutland spa hotel located in scenic surroundings in Børkop near Vejle, was honoured as 'Spa of the Year' among a sharp field of nominees for the Danish Beauty Award 2024.

Judges' reasoning
Hotel manager Maria Munkebo and spa manager Lise Grønning accepted the award on stage, where they shared their gratitude and enthusiasm with the audience. And in her acceptance speech, the employees were particularly in focus: "I am very proud to receive the award as Spa of the Year in a company of super-qualified bids for winners. This would never have been possible without the dedication and expertise of our employees. They make a huge difference every single day and help create a unique experience for each and every guest," said Maria Munkebo, Hotel Manager at Comwell Kellers Park, who emphasised:
"At Comwell, we are generally known for our great hospitality, where the presence and desire to make a difference every single day is what creates the full experience for the guest. It is therefore with great humility that we thank our guests for returning time and time again. But our spa staff deserve a standing ovation for their fantastic efforts," concluded a smiling Maria Munkebo.

The Danish Beauty Award was held for the 18th time on Friday evening, 19 April 2024. Every year, there is great competition to win the coveted awards in different categories. In the Spa of the Year category, the nominees - in addition to Comwell Kellers Park - were Comwell Borupgaard, Hotel Vejlefjord, AIRE Ancient Baths Copenhagen and Scandic Spectrum.

The Danish-owned hotel chain Comwell Hotels today announced its annual results for 2025. Comwell has delivered a significant improvement in results, with a profit after tax of DKK 59.5 million, compared with DKK 35.6 million in 2024. At the same time, turnover in the Danish business grew to DKK 1,163 million, compared with DKK 1,087 million the previous year, representing growth of 6.7 per cent. Operating profit also rose significantly to DKK 81.8 million, compared with DKK 47.5 million the previous year.
